Dealership |

The Dealer-operator applicant must satisfactorily pass a course of study

The Dealer-operator and all salespersons shall have successfully passed the required exams or have been previously licensed

Must provide proof of proper
zoning
-
Comply with the provisions of 46.2-1510, Established Place of
Business
-
Maintain the required
business hours found in 46.2-1533
-
The required dealership
signs are found in 46.2-1534
-
Must employ a certified
dealer-operator
-
Dealer and all salespersons
must complete a criminal history request form
-
Must furnish a $50,000
surety bond for the first three years
-
Will furnish a Buyers Order
for approval
-
Submit DSD-7
(application for salesperson license)
-
For dealer license plates,
submit DSD-9. Liability insurance required
-
Submit DSD-10
(application for dealer license), with attachments to MVDB
-
A MVDB
field representative will inspect the established place of business
-
Upon successful inspection the license and dealer plates will be presented by the representative
