How does an As-Is sale become a Warranty sale?

Sell a vehicle As-Is and then make repairs for no charge to the customer OR warranty the engine and do a repair on the air conditioner. This is where you use the “VIA 18 – Goodwill Repair Form” because without it the As-Is sale becomes a warranty sale and the air conditioner is now part of the warranty. It’s further complicated because in both cases there is no time limit to the warranty expiring.
