Members gathered at Bennie and Cathy Cupp’s Resort in Elkton for their annual picnic.  It was a beautiful setting with plenty of shade and a gentle breeze.  There were wild turkeys and deer lazily moving about for all to enjoy.

Following a delightful meal of fried chicken complemented by home cooking and garden fresh vegetables, the members gathered to meet VIADA President Donnie Keene and family.

Harrisonburg Auto Auction was extended thanks from the group for furnishing the drinks for the event and special thanks also to the Cupp’s for use of their wonderful property.

New members were welcomed into VIADA including Amsack Auto Sales, LLC, Boris Auto Sales, Dealership Resources Unlimited, Dyke Auto Sales, Harlow Auto Sales, Mostly Vans, Village Auto Center, and Eastern Gate Motors.

Tom Parsons, Linford Berry, Donnie Keene, and Tim Talley were presented certificates for sponsoring new members into the Association

The officers will meet soon prior to start of the auction to finalize new officers for 2010-2011.
